White Park Bay, Northern Ireland Travelling north from Ballycastle you get a dramatic view of this beach from high up on the coast road. The downside is that the car park is some distance from the beach and the path is very uneven. It's rarely crowded and in the off season you're likely to have the whole of the beach to yourself. Bathing is not recommended due to strong currents.
White Park Bay was donated to the National Trust in 1938 by the Youth Hostel Association of Northern Ireland. The bay has been designated an ASSI (Area of Special Scientific Interest) for its nationally important coastal grasslands.
